About Me

I am a Senior Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs working in the Trade Processing Team in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have previously worked as a Software Engineer at Aires Medical in 2021 and also as a Software Engineering Intern at WorkSpan during Summer 2020. I'm an energetic and passionate Computer Science Engineer with interests based in Software Engineering. A fast learner looking forward to work in a challenging environment while refining technical and non-technical skills.

Boolean Search Engine

Designed and built an inverted index to map terms to documents and used this inverted index to build a Boolean Search Engine in Python3 that returns results to a Boolean query

Image Classifier

Built a Neural Network and a Convolutional Neural Network using Python3 to recognize an image and classify it as one of the given classes.

Cancer Detection

Designed and built a classifier in Python3 using Logistic Regression to classify suspected breast cells in Wisconsin Diagnostic Breast Cancer (WDBC) dataset as benign or malignant.

Text Summarizer

Designed and developed an automatic text summarizer using Python3 that automatically generates the summary for any given input text document by finding the most meaningful sentences in the document.

ChatBot

The end product of this project was a simple ChatBot that interacts with the user and tries to build a meaningful conversation. I trained this ChatBot over a set of 4000 conversations to try to mimic a normal person.

Tic-Tac-Toe

This is an Android application that I developed and published on the Google Playstore which is an implementation of the Tic-Tac-Toe game. I built this application using Android Studio.

I built this android application to help users assess their concentration level and provide tips to improve their focus and concentration. The users are made to answer a set of questions which helps analyze their concentration level.

Professional Experience

SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Aires Medical, North Carolina, United States

  • Built custom Android OS for STMicroelectronics processor that communicates with a RTOS, integrating real-time therapy and safety control functions for medical device.
  • Designed and developed the User Interface for medical device in Android.
  • Developed a standalone Android application that communicates with an Arduino to control various hardware components.
  • Responsible for development and documentation of medical device software.


SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INTERN
WorkSpan, Foster City, California, United States

  • Worked as a Software Engineering Intern at WorkSpan, California, United States from May 2020 to August 2020.
  • Designed and developed a full-stack feature with Angular in the frontend and python in the backend to create API endpoints, that helps developers to port data over different instances.
  • Contributed in the development of Admin Support tools used by Network Success and Professional Services teams in WorkSpan.
  • Implemented a fault-injection system as a part of the Annual Company Hackathon to inject faults and validate the application behavior in presence of these faults.
  • Assisted in scripting, tooling and bug-hunts to aid software development.

  • Worked as an intern from July,2018 to August,2018 at Siemens Gamesa, Bengaluru, India.
  • During my internship I built a ChatBot for my team website.
